DESCRIPTION

In March, 2011, a project to clear the site and stabilize the Görk Han was undertaken at the same time as the ruins of the nearby Sevserek, Tepe, Yandere, Çat,  and Taşkale hans. Also known as the Han-i Kuruk, this han was perhaps built to help travelers on the ascent or descent through the Euphrates gorge.
